newbie from the North
Hi,
After several years away from small boats and in particular RIB's I have decided I need to get back on the water socially rather than just for work.
Moving to Wick from Aberdeenshire in the very near future and started looking for a boat again.
Currently my days are made up of general marine contracting with workboats/tugs and barges as well as overseeing heavylift operations with large sore side cranes and self propelled trailers. When not on the tools, spend time in the office planning marine operations and undertaking IMCA CMID audits as part of the new AVI scheme.
Boats is what its all about and I am looking to get back on the water for cruising, but also a good open water boat to get out to wrecks for fishing. never been diving, but friends do, so hopefully I get to drive they get to drive for some other locations as well.
Look forward to exploring the forum and picking the brains of folk.
Apologies now for any stupid questions that I come up with
