Newbee from Seattle

I am taking a crash course in Zodiac right now. I found one that looks interesting but not sure of how age matters ? How to inspect it ? etc.

I just looking for a fold up inflatable to fold up and carry in my RV. Not really sure what a fare price is ? Maybe you could share what you think ?

Here is the transom info...

Hi and welcome to the forum. The image is very small and unclear... it would be far easier to judge if you uploaded uploaded an image of the whole boat and in a larger size.

The forums self elected "expert" on Zodiacs in North America (albeit in Canada) should be able to give you an idea on price. I'm sure he'll be along shortly.

I have requested that he send me a bigger clearer picture of the transom ID and a picture of the boat inflated.

The guy selling it sent a picture

And the picture he sent showed the zodiac labels on the sides of the zodiac boat half way pealed off. The boat is really ruff looking and I would not trust it on the water.

Sorry for the late reply

As I do my big learning curve on inflatables rib boats I see a major issue I didn't have back in the 80's when I owned a 4 man zodiac for a year. AGE

Read this article if you have time and see what you think ? If this article is correct then finding the year info on the boat and a inspection of how well it was care for under what conditions is also very important. What is the best way to find the year a boat was produced ? Article: https://newportvessels.com/blogs/res...s%2020%20years
