New to forum - less new to RIBs - Hello!
Hi All,
I have been dipping in and out of this forum for years now! Purely out of a long history of interest and involvement in RIBs. Most of my experience until recently have been with other peoples boats. Started out messing about on mates parents Seariders as a nipper, and then moved onto Ribtecs, Ribcrafts, and Scorpions in various phases of life.
Fast forward to now, and I purchased a 2003 Gemini 550 with 90hp Ficht at the start of the summer. Quickly found this was too small for my family, so upgraded mid summer to 2005 Solent 6.9 with a 150hp Yamaha VMAX.
Loving the Solent (will work out how to post a pic shortly). The extra length makes a huge difference and as I dry-sail her, she will hopefully stay in as good condition as she is now!
I have a few questions I may pose to the community, but figured best start with a Hello!
