New RIB Owner
Hi everyone! My husband and I are new boat owners in CT. We just bought a used 2007 Apex A11 with a 50hp Mercury outboard (assuming roughly the same year). The RIB is showing normal wear, and appeared to have a slow leak, so we dropped it off at an inflatable dinghy repair shop the week after we got it. We’re looking forward to getting it back! It took a while for us to find a used RIB like this one... I have never operated a boat, so I am hoping that this will be a better one for me to learn on. I don’t feel comfortable with our primary boat yet. My husband wanted a tender that would double as something fun, as opposed to purely utilitarian. We plan to tow the RIB with our other boat due to its weight. Is there a thread for upgrades and options that people like to add? I am looking forward to having a bit if fun with this little boat.
