New Member, hello!

Hello Mariners and Watermen,
new owner of a 2009 13 foot (4 meter) Zodiac with a 40 horsepower yamaha outboard, used primarily for scuba diving and accessing surf along the California Central Coast (San Luis Obispo region). Taken it out about five times thus far and always a blast!

Looking forward to getting advice and ideas from the community, especially as it relates to acquiring beach wheels and hoist straps.

Cheers,
-BP

Welcome aboard! I'm in SLO too but have a little bigger RIB, a 7m zodiac. Hope to see you out there!

Oh nice you're in SLO area too! Small world, eh? Where do you usually launch out of? I've only done Morro Bay harbor but thinking about giving Leffingwell a try sometime in 2017...

Mostly morro bay. I'm trailer launch only, no hauling across the beach for me. If I can modify my sling points I can launch Port San Luis then. I don't like to as the sling on the tubes makes me cringe.

I always see small skiffs out of Leffingwell and did that with a boat like your 25 years ago diving in college. It's a great area if the swell is down.
