Hi From Portland

Hi all,

I live in Castletown, Portland opposite the slipway and finally got round to getting a boat!

Picked up an apex 4.5m with a 30HP Suzuki engine, maiden voyage next week :-)

Cheers
Phil

p.s. If anyone needs a weather report from Portland let me know and I'll look out of the window ;-)

Hi Mollers, Fortuneswell is what you drive through to go up the hill, Castletown is the bit between the Castle and the Port :-)

Nope - that's the first batch of houses / shops found as you drive up the hill.

Castletown is the area from Osprey down to the port.

I saw you Trevor, wondered where you were all heading off to :-) How long does it take you to get to Lulworth?

I won't have the boat ready for another week or so, but that trip is definitely on the list once I've got the hang of it. Safety in numbers definitely sounds like a good option!

cheers
Phil
