Hi
Thanks for adding me. Been ribbing in Northern Ireland for 28 years, had a Redbay 6.1m whichbi sold as sailing g took over. Now bought a Tornado 5.3m ‘project’ which requires some gel coat repairs and retubed! Looking forward to sharing my journey and asking loads of tips! Thanks, Michael

Thanks, good to see some folk from the Emerald Isle! Will get some pics up. Need to do from PC by looks of it. These sites don’t like mobiles!

Ready for a shock... Worse than it looks I promise. I’ll have the tubes off on Thursday, then the work begins!

Ha ha. That’s what I thought when I saw it. Having used Tornados for 28 years and seen one retubed a few years back I know it’ll be worth it (I hope...)!

Hole cut and I’d easily say a few hundred leotards came out. Now to let it breathe!

I’d be pretty confident of that! Looked like something running out of a peat bog. Thankfully the transom ply was very dry as I drilled through it!
