Hello Ribnet members

What a great bunch you are - very friendly, very knowledgeable! After much research (Ribnet, internet and youtube mainly) and advice - very gratefully received (one ribnet member in particular and Ian and family at Liverpool Powerboat Centre - thank you) we have made our decisions. We have a new Honwave 3.5ae with a 2006 15hp 2stroke Mariner engine. We enjoyed our 5m Seahog fishing boat but we now need something more flexible in its use and launching. First launch this weekend. Happy days.

funny enough we started 10 years ago with a 3mtr sib on the Mersey, then went to a 5mtr rib, still on the mersey, but now we've moved onto the menai and a 7mtr rib enjoy the honwave

I can only speak for myself but LPB have been more than great with me ,when I had my rib made by them I did have a few problems like you do with brand new boats but they were dealt with by Ian 110% and I am very happy with my rib, although I did want an Etec 75 fitted but the rib is only rated to 70 hp and Ian would rather have lost the sale than me demanding one and I respect that. Also his wife, daughter and staff have always been friendly and courteous when dealing with me. Just my twopenneth worth.

BTW HP, have you had any dealings with LPB ??

I have had lots of dealings with Liverpool Powerboats (LPB) and they provide the very best in customer service - always go above and beyond

Great choice Paul (Inverwood)... well I would say that as it's the same outfit as mine except your outboard is 5yrs newer. Did you get transom wheels or are you going for a heroic carry? I guess the outboard is one of the last of the 2-stroke... same colour scheme as mine ( http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...2outboard.jpg/ )...or did they upgrade the model?

As others have said post some photos and a trip report as soon as you get out.

David
