Hi Everyone, follow this site for a few years..Bought my first boat through the classifieds.. I have 2 ex Rnli inshore dclass ribs, one for sale.. My current one has a ex rnli tohatsu(mariner lid) 50hp 2 stroke engine..Very fast and solid ride..Use it every day as a tender to my work boat and for leisure time..A lot of fishing gets done on this boat..

Welcome to the forums, I was after a D class last year and just missed out on one. I've heard they are great boats, you are lucky to have 2. Where did they work out of?

My original dclass served at Alderburgh for most of it's sevice life..I have all the documentation of it's history...
Which is actually for sale now..It is currently on eBay and the classified section of this site..
My second I do not have any history of it's service..I bought it last year..
My engine that I bought 2 years ago is also ex Rnli..50hp tohatsu(with mariner lid) 3 cylinder..very fast lol..

Just seen that. If you had of been closer I would have been very tempted to buy that from you. Is the transom OK ?

haha.....the transom is solid..It held the 50hp no problem..It was regularly serviced with Avon in Llanelli, which is only an hour away..

I worked round the corner (in dafen) for a few years and didn't know they did engine servicing

Hey, sorry may have missled you there,, The dclass was regularly serviced at Avon , not the engine...
