Hello from the Ohio River...

So I guess I must have joined back in 2005. I tried entering my user name and it said that Red5 was taken, so I tried a few of my olf passwords and Poof, some time, some place I joined here. Now 7 years later I finally have an inflatable.

I have a 15 foot Alliance center consol inflatable with a 50hp honda on the stern. I just bought it and I am trying to get it up and fully functional. It has two slow leaks and I am looking for advice on how I can repair said leaks.

I'm also interested in finding out if I can fill these tubes with some expanding foam or if I can buy replacement tubes.

I also have about half of a gallon of water in one of the tubes. Is there a way to remove the inflator hole mount and suck this water out?

Thanks for any help.

Welcome back Red5!

Ok so let me save you alot of time and trouble. You cannot fill the tubes with foam. This has been tried by others in the past and it always results in a ruined boat! You will have to repair your tubes or buy new ones. Their is no way around it. Also if you really think about it, do you really want to be on the water with an untested, jerryrigged floatation device?
That is a recipe for disaster.
The forum is full info and a few hours of reading later and you will be an expert.
Good luck
