Hey fellow boaters!
This is my first post after having lurked around for a while. To introduce myself briefly I am a Swede, living in the middle part of Sweden.
I mainly use my (inflatable) boat for getting out on remote islands where I go camping, fishing, bird watching and just to enjoy the silence and lack of people (lot's of places like that here in Sweden).
An inflatable was the perfect solution for me as I can't be bothered with marinas, expensive maintenance etc. I just inflate the boat at the beginning of the season and keep it in my front yard and then fold it up and store it in the garage during the winter.
I live close to the water so I hook up the boat behind my car and tow it on the transom wheels. Not really legal, but hey.. Catch me if you can mister Police man
Currently on my third inflatable.
The first was a 3.10 Zodiac from the 90's and a 6hp two stroke Evinrude. Then I upgraded to a 3.50 Zodiac Futura from the 80's
and a 1987 15 hp Evinrude (also 2-stroke) which was a perfect combo, until both broke down. Sad day that was.
Now I just bought a brand new Quicksilver 365 Sport HD (will be posting a review shortly) and have paired it with a 1979 Mercury 20 hp.
