Hello from Manchester

Hi everyone,
Long time reader, first time poster!

I run an Avon Rover R310 with a Johnson 9.9, looking to get a Highfield OM420 with a Honda BF50 in the next year with a bit of luck!

I mainly boat around South Wales but since moving to Manchester I'm looking for areas of interest that are popular with boaters. Obviously Anglesey as a whole is popular, but where would you recommend with a 3.1m SIB?

Cheers

Hi, and welcome.

TBH finding suitable sibbing venues within easy reach has been a bit of a challenge (for me anyway), but the lakes is worth considering, Ullswater, Coniston, Windermere.

We do not do many single day sibbing adventures.

We take our sib when we go camping (Motorhome) so we find Campsites with direct access to water so that we don't have to move once we are set up, and we then get plenty of time on the water.

plenty of exploring to be done with a sib on The Menai, n if the weather is kind there's plenty to see n do around Puffin Island or Caernarfon Bay
