Hello from Ludlow.

Good morning all, I have been lurking for a little while now and am now entering the sib world ....
I am an ex trad shipwright and used to run an outboard workshop so decided to join in.
Squib.

Squib welcome to the forum... as said above your pro experience will be welcome on here. Nice part of the world where you live, we have farming relatives not too far away near Shelsley Walsh so I've been visiting the area for over 40yrs. Where do you get out on the sea from there?

I see on a prop sale thread you mention looking at a 13" pitch on a Yamaha 15. I'm a bit surprised as for a 15hp on a SIB around 3.5-3.8m most of us find a 9" standard the best overall choice, sometimes a 10" but even an 11" is too much for many unless you are lightly loaded with a slippery GRP small RIB hull.

But seems you're OK with an 11" and want more. Which model is your SIB and how many folks/what kit to you load it up with?

Hi Fenlander,
I have family in Cornwall and Devon and moved up her several years ago, so will be exploring down west again and also have been spending time in New Quay, Wales recently which should provide some foam.
The prop I saw was ,I wondered as a spare and maybe for 1 up speed but the yam I have has an 11 pitch which maybe as big as I shall ever need and indeed maybe I should go the other way and get a 9" as a spare.
