Hi all, hope you are well, my names Antony and I’m coming up to semi retirement and starting to spend a lot of time in Dartmouth and surrounding areas. I’ve been fishing all my life I’m 43 and have had my sib for a few years so quite new to all this😳. If there is anyone out here who would like to go out fishing round Dartmouth area and give me a bit of advise that would be great. Me and my wife will be coming down on sunday the 27th March for a week and then alot over the spring and summer so it would be nice to meet up with like minded people. I have. A 3 m raptor sib with a 10 hp Yamaha, many thanks 🙏

Hi Antony and welcome to the forum. 43 is a good age for semi-retirement... I did similar at 40 and have been my own master for the 20+ years since. Can't beat it.

Great area to be based.... only seen by us all too briefly when on holiday.

Thanks for the reply, yes being a tiler for over 25 years takes it out of your joints so it’s time to slow down and the the best place to start doing it is Devon and Cornwall, lovely part of the country
