Greetings from San Diego, CA USA

Hello all...I am a new member and looking to contribute. The boat I just purchased is what I THINK may be an Avon Supersport S3.45 but I am not absolutely certain. It needs a bit of work and I plan on restoring it.

I will be picking the boat up this weekend and will be taking photos along the way.

For those that know these boats, my largest issue is the joint between the Hypalon on the bow and the dashboard/helm console. It appears as though the attachments are simply stainless screws which I have not confirmed are through bolted to a nut or are simply self threaded without a nut fitting.

Any insight that I could gain would be appreciated, as well as any sources of information on these boats....as there is no namplate/tag affixed.

I will be taking photos as soon as I have possession.

I look forward to being a contributing member!

By the way, are there any of you that have this model boat??

Best,
JB
