Christchurch Newbie

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm the proud owner of a (new to me) 2005 RibCraft 585. We plan to use her around the Solent / IOW for beach hopping, exploring and towing the occasional skier. She's in great condition but i do want to remove the battery over the winter to keep it topped up and ready to go. I've found access to the battery itself, which is under the centre console, difficult. Does any one have experience of removing/replacing the battery on a RibCraft 585 with dual console (Pacific i think)?
Thank you.

My experience of removing Ribcraft batteries is that it it a PITA! Ofrten the fuel inlet pipe obstructs easy removal of the battery and the seat and access hatch make for tight working spaces. But it can be done - good luck.

Thanks for all the input across the two forums. I've got the battery charging in place and will start tidying the wiring around it. Hopefully free up some space to enable easier removal at a later date. Roll on spring!
