Bonjour...
After a few sports cruisers of various sizes over the years - Sealine, Fairline, Jeanneau etc, I have happily reached the point where a boat type which has played quite an important part of my maritime life (scuba diving and qualifications 'getting') is now my ride of choice. Living within 30 minutes of the Gironde estuary near Royan means that a day-boat is now the most sensible choice - well, I think so anyway. Yes, dining and sleeping on-board bigger boats had their attractions but the costs were enormous - just as happy now to enjoy a BBQ in the port and head home at night! I have a Valiant 550 Comfort with a Mercury 80Hp and looking forward to picking up some tips on here.
