From Palermo to London with 2 Scanner 2x300 Etec.

From Gommoniemotori to Ribnet with 2 Scanner 2x300 evinrude Etec :

The date is to be determined but will be starting about the end of May 2009
The project involves the use of 2 rib Scanner motorized with 2 Evinrude Etec 300 hp HO

The event will cross the coast of Italy and then cross the Franch by river
Finally, through Thames will arrive in London.

3 Napoli
4 Isole Ischia
5 Isola Capri
6 Isole Pontine
7 Civitavecchia
8 Piombino
9 Viareggio
10 Monaco
11 Isole Hyeres
12 foci del Rodano – Arles – Avignone – Valenza – Lione – Parigi – le Havre
13 Thames
14 London

Owner of the project:
Mimmo Giardina pilot offshore and member of Gommoniemotori.com
On board 2 rib there will be a reporter who will run movies and pictures
The event is followed live on the forum Gommoniemotori.com

A 10 meter Scanner rib competed in RB8 and came 4th. Did have twin mercruiser 525's in.
They then took it back by sea to the med after the event.

Thats the one, pulled 60 knots with 1050hp. What do they do with the 300 outboards

no problem... say to place them close to the ribs and forum engines (for adhesives that have a base of about one meter)
