Well I went out for a book of stamps..

Well we all have new toys we buy, often when we go out for a book of stamps..
Mine is a 5m SIB with a two inch thick alloy floor. I have a 50hp Mariner to power said toy.. the only thing when I bought it deflated and took it home I hadn't thought about using it.. and now feel I need to make a trailer and some modifications..
I have a kit to make the engine remote control, but like the engine as a tiller control..
I am not sure whether this is gonna be a keeper, so may swap for something else!!

Thick floor..

I should clarify the two inch thick floor is the floorboards, not a hull.. it is not a RIB as is currently rolled up in my garage.
The boards are heavy duty as is a commercial spec boat.
Should be good just need to find a trailer if anyone has one!!

I know the sort you mean now, I had the image of a solid 2" alloy deck.
I had a Zodiac with a similar deck to yours.

No pics yet..

I have the boat rolled up in the garage at the moment. I need to get a trailer really as although can fit in the car just about, takes a while to rig it all, plus trying to pop a 50hp on the back each time will be a struggle..

Another book of stamps or two..

Well since buying the 5m inflatable, I ended up buying a 4.5m Avon Adventure RIB, but now sold both of those and bought an Avon S3.45 with a 25hp Yamaha, so gone back RIBs again..
