valves

I have had a couple of boats with water inside the tubes for various reasons on yacht tenders such as topping up with a foot pump when the boat had water sloshing about on the floor & deflating rolling up the boat with the valves left in the open position without draining all the water out of the boat first .

On the really old mk 1 Avon redcrest i finished up removing an old patch & drained it off that way through the old hole with about a pint of water drained out .
On another tender which had the larger a7 valves i used some of that clear plastic fish tank narrow tubing & pushed it down through the valve body & seal and sucked the water out that way after positioning the boat to get the water to all pool in one place ,, about about a half a cup of water came out of that one though it sounded like there was much more .
