Ullswater 2020

Finally made it out yesterday for a day on the lake with the family. Not been out for about two years

Inflated the boat Saturday, cleaned it and double checked everything, ran the motor etc, all perfect.

Gets up there to find that Pooley Bridge is still closed and we had to drive an extra 30 mins back to Penrith to come in from the other side.

Bit of a hiccup with the fill adapter missing when we got there for my new Itiwit pump, a bit of cursing and internal panicking from me but managed to macgyver it using a strip of carrier bag wrapped around the standard Itiwit adapter and managed pressure.

All that aside, absolutely fantastic day on the water and worth all the work to get there.

Still considering selling up, if anyone is looking for an Aerotec with a 20hp Tohatsu 4 Stroke with all the trimmings

Hi Fen
Mostly 2 of us (me and the missus) plus occaisionally 4 Adults but not often. Hopefully Sibbing around North Wales and Southern Scotland maybe a bit bit of pottering in the Lake District but not Windermere. Mainly exploring and fishing.

Should add that I have owned boats for 40 odd years but the kids have got other things going on so the speedboats going. I love having the water option when I'm away, it gives you a completely different experience of your surroundings.
