Ha yes... perfect if you have the standard 25l tank that usually comes with a Mercury/Mariner 2-stroke as it's able to hold the floor into some reasonable shape being a close fit under the seat.

This is interesting stuff. Do you think that Stormsure would be suitable for a tiny pin prick leak on an Avon SIB? It is made of hypalon. The leak is on the underside of the port tube so much lower pressure than an Aerotec floor. Or am I better off going down the patch route?

Despite the total success of the Stormsure had there been sufficient room around the hole for a patch that's what I would have used. But you've nothing to lose trying it as it could easily be cleaned off to put a patch on later if it didn't work.

Yep repair still all good three years on. As you see only the Stormsure and no patch.

I wondered if you were still about since last posting a couple of years ago... but it's been an odd time for most folks.

Talk of Stormsure for an air floor repair caused me to look back to this old thread.

Pleased to report over 5yrs on the Stormsure "blob of glue" repair is still totally sound on my HP air floor. Pretty impressive given the pressure is nearly 1bar and over that period it has been well flexed by sea conditions, trampled by dog/folks feet and rolled up/unrolled dozens of times.

Puncture as post 1 above, repair post 21.

Stormsure

Yes my repair of 3.5 years still holding fast too and I enjoyed a first of the season trip out Putney to Richmond last weekend except the tide flooded my car.

Good that your repair is lasting too, not so good about the car. Hope just a minor flooding up the wheels. I see there is a Facebook group "The Putney High Tide Club".

Are you still running that newer Aerotec and a 25hp?
