Here it is mounted on the transom. The stainless steel bolts are fixed in holes through the transom with CT1 (Wonderful stuff) and it is bolted on with slots in the bracket so that it can be lowered and heightened if necessary. The whole thing is easily removable by undoing the 2 13 mm nuts.
Just got to align it and fit the actual transduced and then test it..... Hopefully it will not create too much splash.

Given it is made from hardwood and screwed it feels very very strong
