If it ended up going for the starting price then someone has the deal of the century on their hands. The condition of the boat looked very good and the highlighted items were less than an hours patching. And the transom looked as clean as any used sib I've seen.

Interesting that Mariner 15 has a conventional gearshift on the side... perhaps been on remotes at some time.. wonder if the tiller gearshift works too?

That's a pretty good summarisation of a fair percentage of eBay sellers for sure. Some real bargains out there lately but plenty of caveat emptors too as ever.

I was watching that myself for the engine. It's a bit too expensive though, trailer looks terrible, the 'extras' are not really worth anything so that leaves the engine and boat.

Re Zodiac That's an odd one... mine was same year and only around 3m but rated to 25hp... yet that's only to 10hp.

I hope the Zodiac lettering and flag motif will come off easily!

Re the Aerotec that was up at £2k start a few weeks ago and no bids... but I think he put folks off with the deferred collection date... but now we're in June it doesn't seem so far away.

Looks a nice outfit.... ought to sell easily.
