Sea Eagle sportsboats

In my searches for a SIB, came across the Sea Eagle ( We sell SeaEagle Inflatables, Point 65 modular kayaks and Torqeedo motors. ) ...

This is the only place I have seen them for sale in the UK, but they seem pretty good to me (but what do I know).. Are they good? or is their scarcity in the UK a bad sign?

thanks
Mark

I've not heard of them before - a quick glance shows the "rigid inflatable keel" that is located below/outside the form of the boat. This is a novel design feature - personally I don't like the look of this, possibly unreasonably.

thanks willk. I'm completely new to all this so that observation is useful and interesting. Possibly others have felt the same as you?
At the moment my short-list, as well as including Sea Eagle, consists of Quicksilver, Avon & Zodiac boats. I prefer the idea of a rigid floor, and I assume I should look for an inflatable keel for stability? Although the Sea Eagle keel is permanent I guess.
thanks
Mark
