Roof rack for 2.7m Waveline aerodeck

Hi in process of building rack to carry sib as i tow a caravan,,has any one constructed one before? Started by building a 2mtr long frame to support most of the weight with mesh on front half so outboard can be strapped down under boat. Thinking about fitting rollers on rear of rack to help it on.

I also tow a caravan but with the sib and motor in the car boot.

Most cars have limited ratings for weight on the roof.

Built a rack with a roller on the back for a topper sailing dinghy on a motorhome years ago. But not a sib.

Weight limit on roof bars is 65kgs evenly distributed, sib weighs 44kg and motor is only 12kg, and rack only weighs 6kg so far, fitted rollers and tried loading sib went well not too much overhang and very secure, just to engineer some type of fixing for motor. ps missus won't have motor in car or van.

Lol.

It's the other way with me.
My Mrs doesn't go near the camper or the boat.
I do all the cleaning, loading up, maintenance etc.
So I put what I like where I bloody like! :-)
