Railblaza 3M VHB or Glue?

Greetings all...I was thinking of adding some Railblaza ribport attachments to my Commando C4 for navigation lights. They are designed to attach to the tubes and come with a 3M VHB double sided tape pad to attach these to the boat. I was wondering if anyone had used these, and if so did they use the included VHB or glue? For reference my boat is PVC. If the tape works as well as glue then I would use that, but I want the strongest connection to the boat. If you were adding additional d-rings would you use the VHB tape again, or glue? Thanks all, here is a link to the ribport....

The double sided tape does not hold up well especially if you fold the boat. I have been working with another accessory manufacturer for a few months on this very issue with their product.
