Finally got out on the boat yesterday launched from Castletown Portland Harbour about mid day and got back in about 430. Was brilliant fun went across Weymouth bay almost to ringstead and then back over to the south entrance to Portland harbour and did some drifting tried feathers and savage gear Sandeels but no takes. Was such a nice day with perfect conditions. Even the mrs had a go and enjoyed it . I'm loving the Excel Vanguard and the tohatsu 15hp efi. My max speed was 15 nots but I'm still getting gurgling noises not sure if the engine is too high or it's due to the trimming. I'll upload a video about it in a separate thread later.
