We've had to pull out of a holiday cottage booked for 2nd-9th June 2012. It is superby positioned for smallcraft boating just across the road from the free slipway/pontoon at Plockton (Nr Skye). There is off-road space in the cottage garden to store an inflatable for nightime security.
Reason for posting on here is the slim chance someone might want the boating opportunity and we only get any of our money back if it's re-booked at this short notice.
It's a 2 bedroom to sleep 4 and pets permitted. Right on the waterfront area with easy access to the excellent slipway and pontoon facility. Max price £450.
Have a look at my 2011 holiday report with images and video of Plockton. The cottage is just visible in the 3rd picture down, its a converted barn with skylights you can see behind the big white house on the right.

Plenty of places to explore in Loch Carron and Loch Kishorn with Skye an achievable destination too. We visited the area last year and did a reccy to find what we thought was the perfect cottage in the perfect location for inflatable boating... gutted to miss it.
