My new old zodiac mk2

Picked up this mk2C from 1972 from a local garage sale, no one else was interested in it as was covered in 20years of dust and deflated, the seller pretty much persuaded me to buy it. It was on a fairly decent road trailer so I took a gamble at £50, figuring that the trailer was worth the asking price if the boat was scrap. Was told it had been garaged since new and only used a handful of times so I was reasonably optimistic.

Pumped it up and holds air perfectly over 24hrs, no leaks, no repairs, no damage, no holes. Found the missing bow dodger support. Dropped an old 6hp Yamaha I had kicking around on it. Launched it and went for a spin. Well chuffed with it, takes me back to simpler times!

Photo shows it as is, will clean up lovely with some tube cleaner and elbow grease

Bargain!!
I thought I got a good deal on my 1973 Avon S100 for £46.
But that came with a very poorly fitting DIY replacement deck which I need to replace.

You snagged a winner there!
