Well after studying the pic's that i have been sent ,zooming in up close,YES definalty LIFEGUARD EQUIPMMENT LTD,so its good to have a manafacturer make,and sounds a good make to ,they made or make millitary marine safety gear

Hi there mate how are you doing,thinking once i do her up ,may keep her down in Alverstoke Boat club if they let me join ,quite cheap per year ,i fish Alverstoke ,lee on solent beachs in the summer for the smoothies and have family down in Portsmouth ,my one at late will keep for fishing minis bay for the rays ,plus it can come out of the shed when ever i get the chance to go fishing ,so hopfully a boat at both places,christ i will be in heaven,lol ,hope you are doing plenty boat n fishing wise NOS

You be right there mate,i am very excited lots of work to do,like a kid with a new toy ,lol,real proper SIB as well ,none of that cheapo plastic rubbish,don t get me wrong i have had some good fishing off the SEAGOand still will,but cramped to say the least,lol,frustrated i hav nt got a pump adapter to pump her up an get to see what she looks like A5?,doh,got attachments? so will try to mo,the keel one looks different to the sponson ones aswell? and a nice outboard to make her planel,15hp?

Well been scrubbing her up and starting to look good ,using FENWICKS biodegradable,doing its job doing a bit when home from work don t get long gets dark at six so just had half n hour,,,,,,thought to me self, mmmmm sure this looks longer then 3 .5 m,yessss its 4m external length,result

Hi there is there any chance that you know how much horse power these sibs take,no mention on the plate and any idea how much brand new these boats would of cost? would really appreciate any more info on these ML LIFEGUARD sibs please

,,just been looking at tugs for sale on the net ,and in the ships inventory , a lot are fitted/carry a ML LIFEGUARD inflatable man overboard recovery rescue boat ,that look just like yours ,, ib395 , and most seem to be fitted with johnson 9.9 hp engines . suppose the IB395 stands for inflatable boat 3.95 meters long ,,it will probley take a bigger engine though i suppose for just recovering a m.o.b a 9.9 willl be powerfull enough.

cheers mate ,i can get hold of a 15hp cheap so will have that on it,its what the chap used on it,can t find anymore photos or price anywhere ,never mind

Any pics of the boat during your work in progress would be good.

It will be a very nice boat when finnished.

I would think a 25hp would be max ,but ya never know ha ha

15hp will be nice and cheap to run and give tons of fun

Ahh thats better

The transom looks like so much better now.
It was a bit mucky when you got it, but now looks pretty good.

This will make a very nice boat when finnished.

keep the pics comming, it shows all your hard work and gives others some good ideas.

I am reviving this thread as i have to sale her,truly gutted fantastic bomb proof sib,all the best Shane

Please PM IF INTERESTED i have to pick it up from DYMCHURCH VARNE BOAT CLUB.then it will be dismantled so gotta act quick. I will find some more pictures as the transom has been all done painted black.
