Is this Rednecks last adventure?
I honestly thought Redneck would have been sold and gone to a new owner by now. Thank goodness I wasn't rash and sold her before I had done all the testing I needed to do on my new sib. I've still got things to do with the new 360 Explorer, mostly to do with the dog and making sure she's comfortable!
Setting Redneck up has made me wonder why the hell have I bought a new sib? She's a bit like a very comfortable old pair of walking boots, just does what's expected without any hassle!
The waters around Anglesey await and it looks like perfect weather to enjoy them.

Great day out on the water today.
Launched at Trearddur Bay went to South Stack (distinct lack of Puffins only saw 2, loads of Guillemots though) North Stack, Borth Wen then back to Trearddur for a very late lunch.
Great weather and the sea was near perfect.

So today was so nearly a disaster. First thing this morning Rednecks front tube was flat, not soft, completely flat! Last of the really good weather and I'm going to miss it because I need to do a repair. Then I remembered, I deflated the tubes slightly because it was so hot the night before. Had the valve stuck open? Thankfully that was all it was. Quick blast of my new pump (thanks Orwell Boy) and all was well.
Launched from Borth Wen and ventured down to Goleudy Tŵr Mawr on Newbourgh. Fantastic sea conditions but it was a little cloudy with rain at times. On the way back to Borth Wen we were fortunate enough to come across a pod of Dolphins, Diane's holiday is made - nothing else matters now. When we got back to Borth Wen the sun came out and it was boiling, 30° plus. I'm just hoping the weather holds for the rest of our holiday.
On a slightly different note, Redneck performed implacably. 18.5 knots 2 up with Isla and full day kit, why oh why oh why did I think of a new sib?

Looks like a beautiful spot Steve!
Just out of interest, what pin do you trim your 20HP Merc to with Redneck? With 1 being the lowest and 6 being the highest?

I mostly use hole 2, unless it gets very choppy and Diane sits on the floor at the bow. I then use hole 3, dare I say it, it contracts the extra weight in the bow!

Next time you visit Anglesey Tonus, try Trearddur. It is so easy to launch there at all states of tide you won't regret it, and it's a beautiful coastline.
How did the fishing go?

I will do Steve, it looks great.
I didn't get to the fishing last year - I only managed to get out a few times dues to work... more hopeful this year though!
