Insuring my Honwave.

Hi guys.

How much should I be paying to insure my set up.

1. Honwave T40 (brand new)
2. 2013 Tohatsu 18 4 stroke
3. Used custom made trailer

Any recommendations or advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Cliff

You can probably insure that for around £100, depending on things like where you keep it etc.
There are various suppliers, including some who post on here, but it's a well versed subject so you should be able to find recommendations.

When you do, look carefully at the t+c's as not all are the same, and things like towing skiers can make a difference to premiums etc.

Premium about £65 with Craftinsure online Cliff. I've used them for many years. No claims yet but totally happy with service and prices so far. Very easy to use. Do the online application and in 5 mins you can download and print your certificate and policy.

Craftinsure Boat Insurance | Compare Yacht, Narrowboat, Dinghy, RIB, Speedboat, Canoe and Kayak Insurance

Fully agree with Poly re the T & C's. Make sure they suit your needs.

For example the Craftinsure policy/price I've quoted does not allow the boat to be left moored or anchored unattended in tidal waters... and no towing toys. This suits us but might not be right for you.

Thanks for the replies and info. Somewhere between £45 and £65 would be great. I've a wife and 3 young children so usage will be very tame most of the time and no ringos or anything like that at the moment. Mostly just slowly up and down a river or canal and buzzing around in shore on the odd occasion.
