Jon, any chance of a photo, hopefully someone will recognise which type of valve you have.

Are they made by Dunlop?

hello

we had a Dunlop c12 with a volvo penta 25hp - wooden floor with inflatable keel.

This was bought in 1976 ( If I remember)

We used to launch in Greenwich - where the millenium dome is now built. We had to drive through the old gas works to a very steep and narrow slip. I was 13. When dad was working Mum would take us down - but she would'nt reverse down the slip. So I used to do it!

But once launched we had some really good thames trips. virtually every weekend -

Is that the C-Craft?

C-Craft

Many years ago I used to sell C-Craft inflatables and they were eventually bought by Dunlop who then amalgamated with Beaufort and eventually stopped manufacturing in the late 70's or early 80's. The name C-Craft ceased when Dunlop bought them in the early 70's, so your inflatable is about 30 years old!

The valves changed a number of times during the companies existance and it would prove difficult to obtain spares; however, new valves can be fitted but these could cost up to £15.00 each to buy and then you have to fit them.

Eurocraft in Leyland, Lancs, will sell you valves and glue and there number is 01772 622856.

Good luck.
