How do you store your SIB?

So got my 4m SIB this year and looking how to store it for winter. Its too big in the garage and dont want to leave on trailer as it is too public. (private car park but open to public)

So should I deflate and store "flat packed"? What do others do? Maybe in one of those garden store boxes at B&Qland?

thanks GB

Wash/clean it, Let it dry if possible, Deflate it, Put in bag and keep somewhere indoors/Garage/shed

Mind you don't do the whole I have put it to bed for winter thing. You could get a lovely day and is so go out on it

The theoretical ideal is inflated but not to maximum evenly supported in a dry airy building out of the light and covered by a dustsheet... but not many have the space to do that.

So as BP says... always good practice to wash and I'd say always dry. Pack away somewhere not known for mice... they can ruin a SIB.

Here is mine today on the shelf.

I've had many SIBs from new to 40yrs old that have always been stored packed and never known it cause an issue.

Everything as said above, although make sure it's absolutely bone dry and keep it away from anything metal. Store it high off the ground on timber. I always put plenty of talcum powder in mine, I'm told the rodents don't like talcum powder.
