If you have not found an option yet
Have you considered putting a frame in your boat

You could also make it out of PVC
The tubes keep the frame in place and you could mount a console to it which would give you a place to mount your radar

That's a great idea.

I was planning on fabricating an arch out of PVC-tubes and this is the way to mount it whitout having to drill too much holes in the transom.

When i'm done i'll post some pictures.

Finished the pvc A-frame today. Only a clean paintjob to finalise it.
Used some 32mm hot water drainage pipes (wall of the tubes 3mm for rigidity).

Once the tubes of the boat are inflaties the baseframe is wedged solid in between.

Weight is ok since i can lift it on my pinkie.

And most important for me, easy to transport (leveller is approx. 1m long) fits together with the Floreboards in a bag.

All and all i'm happy with the result. Click image for larger version

Hello mrr,
IMHO isnt it possible to get such an arch or pole here in the netherlands?
it is really "spannend" to order it abroad and over the grote plas but i'm sure it can be done here to. I will be building my own arch this year of stainless steel (avon searider type with turning bag) .
If you havent ordered it yet and still need one you could send me a design ....
met vriendelijke groet kind regards
bert

What I like about this arch: it uses a sort of bracket on the transom, if you do not use the radar arch, there won't be any holes in your transom because that is where the brackets are.

Bert,

No need anymore. I just made a frame myself using PVC-tubes. I'm happy with the result. I Will try it out ASAP.

Thx. For the offer.
