Flag pole for Inflatable boat

Hi all boaters,

I would like to mount a flag pole on the transom of my inflatable boat but I don't want to put a screw on the transom for mounting. Does anyone know where I can get a clamp and it can hold a flag pole?

Please let me know if you have any ideas? Pictures even better.

Thanks.

Look at a clamp on fishing rod holder, and put the flag on either an old fishing pole, or on a suitable length of aluminum tube of the correct diameter.

Well, I'm in the US, so my links are likely of no use to you, but to give you an idea:

Scotty Pontoon Rod Holder : Cabela's

Folbe Advantage Jr. Rod Holder : Cabela's

Down East Rod Holder - Standard with Single Clamp Mount | Bass Pro Shops

Can probably set something up with a piece of plywood, a piece of PVC pipe, a couple of screws, and a couple of C-clamps.

What size flag are you trying to fly, and how high? And in what kind of weather?

Thanks mate. 2 C clamps and a plywood sounds cheap and good to me. Not a big pole, just a pole with a flag is good enough for me. Start small..

Railblaza Flagpole - Only £27.95 - Force 4 Chandlery

Although you need one of their connectors to go with it.

How do you mount it onto the transom?

Sorry I didn't pay attention to your OP

You need to screw their connector to the transom.
