Not sure what you're asking?

I suspect, through years of deciphering what people type on here, he means:
Is there a better drain arrangement for getting water the boat has shipped back out?

Ahh... spellcheck replaced valves with values??
To be hones I've never found the 1" or so dia drains that much use on a SIB apart from tipping up to drain before packing up.

Sorry I meant the drain hole, as I noticed on the ribs I go on they have a flat hose or a plastic cone with a ball in it.

Not sure what your transom arrangement is like. Mine has a 1.5" ? hole with an expanding bung - works well when on the plane. Difficult to get to from a centre console but probably OK for tiller steer. Balls and similar devices all work as easier to use bungs - but almost all leak a trickle of water when sitting stationary (or will after a few months use). Layflat hose (known as elephants trunk) is very effective - but is offset to the side so if your floor is not flat at transom level will miss a lot of water.

Sound advice from fenlander the 11 inch will be a more aggressive in performance what I mean by that it will return you to the plain quicker which gives advantages in rough water you will have more scope carrying weight with less effect on top speed and performance I would expect around 22-24 knots top speed ideal conditions with the 11 inch. 11-13 inch props will give you a decent scope in all conditions.
