Fire Service Thrust Board

Hi all,

Our Service is in the middle of a complete yearly strip down of our old Avon Ea16.

As part of the strip down I need to replace the badly worn bend plates that go between the main and forward thrust board. These seem to be made of glued strips of hessian or canvas with a rubber cover to protect the screws.

There’s 8 of them, 4 each side and I can’t find anywhere that does them. Would anyone on here with knowledge of this type of Avon boat know how or where I can obtain replacements or if they have used anything as a replacement.

Thanks in advance

Craig

Conveyor might be a bit stiff if it's to bend unless you get the belt that splits and make layers, the other sort with a saw tooth fiber end grain doesn't split.
Ratchet strap fabric might work or talk to portmere rubber they will have reinforced rubber.
