Excited... Like its christmas!

Hi,

Not been on here in a while. I have just downsized quite a lot and am very excited! I grew up on the water with my parents messing around in inflatables and my pride a joy from age 12-16 was a Narwhal 270 RIB with Mercury 10hp. So much fun!

Once i got a job i have progressed up the rib ladder Avon 4m Searider, Avon 545, Ribeye 600 and until last month owned a Cobra 755 with 250 Verado for the last 4 years (Which was amazing!). I have just sold this to get a sailing boat next year but am missing the water so much have bought a SIB :-)

Collecting on Sunday a used 1 owner Quicksilver 340 with a Mariner 10hp. I am more excited about this than any of the other boats! Cant wait for that feeling you so connected to the water and zipping onto the plane...and all can go in the boot of the car and then go home... sorry but had to share.. cant wait to join the SIB Crew :-)

Great update. It's not about the boat, it's about getting out on the water!

Couldn't agree more. Just finished packing the boat and I've just bought a Honwave 3.5 & Tohatsu 20. Can't wait to get that blown up Sunday at Carradale & get the engine run in

Hope the weather forecast's wrong

What is clachtoll like , it looked amazing from the video on here last week, can you launch a small rib from the beach? Was looking to take the bigger rib up as well but I think that would need to be on a mooring in a near bye harbour?
