off up north next weekend ,i may take the boat but still a bit cold

we will be stopping in wetheral and i see a river i was wondering if anyone has any must see places ,boat launches etc as it could become a well visted place with a relative living up there (providing i don`t upset everyone again)

Up there next weekend as well staying Wigton can't see the river being any good from what I have seen of it its pretty shallow
Best bet is the lakes
