Bottom Saver Info ?

I was given a 11' Bottom Saver strap-on and was wondering if anyone ever used one on a SIB, or remembers them? I'm assuming that it is molded fiberglass, but not sure.It weighs about 14kilo.
I remember seeing adds in boating magazines 25 years ago, but I have ditched my old mags. I might save it for my Zodiac Mark 1 GT or use bits for a removalable bow dodger on my Avon 4.5 CRRC.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Squid.

That's very cool, you can turn a sib to perform as a rib specially in choppy, windy waters and for beaching. First time seeing them, probably hard plastic made.

Happy Boating
