Boat in the lounge

2010 Zodiac Futura Mark IIC Aluminum just came in for me. It's WAY larger than I thought it'd be. So is the new outboard, a Honda BF20. I can't wait to sail over 3 meter waves in the Arctic Ocean with sleet and spray whipping the bow (or putting around the local lake with my girlfriend, more likely).

EDIT: Hopefully I join the 'Boat in the lounge' club: http://www.rib.net/forum/f50/zodiac-...der-52439.html

Ha! I left the bombard up in the lounge when I went away for 5 days to make sure the repair worked (it did). Got back and the landlord has been round, left me a little note 'I generally don't approve of items cluttering up the floor space. I certainly don't think a boat in the lounge is a long term storage solution'

I must agree with your landlord, the preferred place is the dining room.

Welcome to the boat in the lounge club. I find the girlfriend to be more harmonious if it is not inflated, the boat that is.
