I guess you'll just need a rummage in the shed BP and it will be dual purpose.

Does anyone knows the price of that Lomac Flying Rib, are available in different sizes ? After sibing and ribbing for years, would be a proper time to go flying around....

Happy Boating

I mounted a Bimini on my boat and it’s the best thing I ever did . As soon as I figure out how to upload pictures I can show everybody how I did it

Bimini for you Honwave

Hi all, is this thread still open or whatever they call it in internet-speak? Cos I'm very interested in a Bimini top for my Honwave T30-AE.

I was down at the pontoon to pump the boat out today - (more about pump on another posting) and thought that if I had a cold beer in the car or better still a Cuba libre, then I'd just sit in my moored SIB for a while and watch the world go by, then I thought if I had a Bimini top - great! I mean people "just sit around" on moored yachts, why not on a 3 metre SIB?

And I'm going a bit bald btw.

How about a Bimini top for a 3 metre, and ideas please?

Regards, Terry.

Having taken the decision to remove my bimini the other half suggested yesterday we get a pub or anglers umbrella to put up when at anchor, has anyone tried it?

Yes I do that all the time fixed stainless steel eyes to my console on my rib or the sib seat. Obviously if it is windy it turns inside out and also get a quality one. Can also help if it comes on to rain

So not only has the missus allowed me to spend money on the boat, but it also turns out to be a really great and not uncommon idea?...

Have I slipped into the Twilight Zone lol

We just use a cheap (£5 ish) beach parasol & a couple of bungees. They last a couple of seasons & then bin ‘em.
