Avon FRB 380, bubbles under wear strip

I noticed these air bubbles under the wear strip on my Avon FRB380. I assume there is a small leak underneath. No bubbles on top when doing the soapy water test. Has anyone ever seen something similar? I'm curious how I could get a sub-surface leak like this. The hypalon is in perfect condition elsewhere on the boat, no cracks or porosity.

I suppose I'll have to get out the heat gun and lift the wear strip and see what is going on underneath.

Seen it plenty of times. In some cases there was no actual leak underneathe just a bond that failed. Have also seen a couple with very small leaks underneathe. Had one that was worn through from the inside of the tube from the valve rubbing while folded over many many years.
