Aquarius Aquacat 4.1 Sport

Hi All,

Toying with the idea of buying that hull, so what speeds are possible with a Yammie 50 & a decent cleaver ? It's not for racing just for river use.

Cheers Phil

Hi Phil,

was going to suggest you try the thunder cat site but I see you've posted there too!
With a 50 and a good 18p cleaver you can get around 45 knots, you can go bigger with props but generally 18p is what folk use.

You should have a look at the Ceasar Surfcat as well

Thanks, I'd rather stay with a full transom as I'm not planning to get (too) wet. Probably would go with a Yammie 50G to get a few more kn.

When I had a surfcat it had wooden panels made up to fill the transom and the elephants trunks added for drainage.
