Any Bravo BTP Pump repairs in UK?

Hi,
I have a Bravo BTP 12 Digital which has a fault, when it was packed away a couple of years ago it worked and today when I've tried to use it there is nothing obvious happening.

It's way past any warranty so i'm going to take it apart and see f i can spot anything obvious to repair, however, i can't find any diagrams of what should be in there or an instruction manual just in case I'm doing something wrong in the first place.

Does anyone on the site know of a place in the UK that repairs these pumps or is it a case of just buying a replacement, I've browsed the site for an answer to the repair question and drew a blank.

Thanks for any suitable suggestions.

Do you mean it won't do anything and there is nothing on the display? What are you connecting it to?

Sometimes the main on button (far left) is a bit flaky. It feels a bit like a microswitch under the rubber button and I've had mine feeling like it isn't latching properly in the on posn??

Wow that was quick, thanks Fenlander.

The display is broken and is just a blob, I was planning on using it to inflate the boat to near enough and then use the manometer to check and finish inflating manually.

I've tried it off the car battery and also an external battery pack and nothing happens at all. It may be user error as I've never used one before and because it looks pretty straightforward doesn't mean it is.

Messages crossed, that sounds like it could be what the issue is, it does feel a bit imprecise and i wondered whether the switch was broken, do you just persevere until it work? Presumably it should start pumping regardless of being connected to a valve or not?

Thanks again for your help.

Well you need to power it up with the left hand on switch and then the display should come up with the last setting you had selected. Then you press start/stop to get the pump running... and no it doesn't need to be connected to a valve to test.

If you can't feel/hear the light click of the on switch as you press the rubber button that should be the problem. With mine when that happened a bit of pushing a wiggling a few times and it would go. Weirdly that was a couple of years back then it just started working OK.

Spot on, thanks Fenlander, It is now working.

Does the mode button swap between turbine and piston stages please? Excuse the possibly daft question, I can't find a manual online.

I can't use the display as it looks like an ink blob, i'm presuming that the buttons still work so I can adjust the setting but have no idea of what it's on.

No the mode is psi or mbar setting.

There is no manual way to switch turbine to HP... it does that itself sensing back pressure in tube.
