Attention those posting lately looking for a boat for 'nothing' (johnny5 etc). This came up on eBay last night - needs a little TLC but £500 for a 3.1m and engine - as ever buyer beware and inspect personally before parting with cash:

there seem to be a few of these sort of prices - Peter( boatsandoutboards4sale) posted one which I was very tempted by by ended up spedning 3 times as much - and that one is now down to £550 with a 6hp and a small RIb that admittedly needs some work.

Is this the effect of this summers weather I wonder ?

Not sure Peter - I think at the end of the day most people are not 'into' boats like us lot and just want to turn another bit of 'stuff' in the garage into cash without being bothered to make the most of the sale or even check what a more accurate value might be?
