advice

hi guys iv just got a new 15 hp mercury and am wondering is it ok and safe to trailer it about on the boat iv got a honwave t35 with a ally floor and its a bit of a lump to be putting it in and out of my boot and is their any set way of securing it to the transom my trailer is bunks and fit for the job do you need to strap the engine down to stop it bouncing about or is it ok any help will be great thanks gilly

i do with my 25hp Gilly i have transom pad and two straps one to keep the boat down through the eyes in the transom, set my engine on shallow drive and strap the engine to stop it bouncing.
