92 14ft achilles sg140- no floor-need 2 build

Hi, i have just bought a 1992 sg 140 achillies boat. It came with no floor boards or stringers. I need to build these and don't have a template or model to look at.

If anyone has a boat of this similar type and would be willing to answer a couple of questions, i would be much happy.

Also if you have any tips to measure and build a floor where you don't have a template .. please shoot. I will make the floor a little long to strech it in, use 3/8 or 1/2 marien ply or very good exterior ply, trying to find hchannel, i will build stringers out of wood i think until i can get some others

Original stringers are very heavy duty. I'd recommend to use metal as the original had. Also Floorboards were made from aluminum. With some luck I may find them....and those stringers.

hello gynner. Finding the orginal boards and stringers would be awesome but I won't hold my breath. I actually have a 11ft, so i imagine the stringers are similar.

I had a much smaller years ago with wooden floorboards and plastic U-channels as stringers. Depending on your motorization and load and inflation that may not be enough.
I'll keep looking. Might take a few days.

HI, I re-read your post and noticed something about you saying you might be able to find the original floor boards? maybe a typo or did you mean me to find them ? thanks

No typo. There are somewhere hidden in a rather large storage...in NYC.
